I’m Candace
I currently reside in Lubbock Texas and have specialized in Weddings, Couples, and Portrait Photography since 2020.
I grew up with a mom who knew what it meant to capture moments in time & because of her, grew my passion for photography to capture the candid moments. The moments we don’t often think about but cherish forever.
I am married to my wonderful caring husband since 2016 with my two kiddos in tow. I randomly met my husband back in 2014 at a local bookstore and our first date revolved around coffee that morning and tacos for lunch where I devoured every bit of my taco plate, leaving him utterly impressed.
Wedding planning for us was nothing short of chaos, so whether it’s your first date shenanigans, engagement, or wedding planning, I’ve been in your shoes and I am always happy to help wherever I can!
I totally understand that being photographed is nothing short of awkward. Not everyone feels like they are ‘model material’, but trust me when I say…EVERY one thinks that and I like to believe I turn every one of my clients into so called ‘models’
So often do I get inquiries informing me that their husbands or significant other doesn’t enjoy photos or they are both really awkward, but that’s OK. I really enjoy the authenticity when you tell me that, because I want you to focus on each other and not the camera when we are at our shoot or your wedding. Doing so will create the most authentic, magazine, editorial worthy photos of your dreams!
My focus is the experience you have and my goal is to help you feel comfortable by becoming a trusted friend in the process. I also help you style your outfits, pick and scout locations, or if you just want someone to bounce ideas off creatively I can do that too!
